The ingredients are as common as you all know but I try to spice it up so as to contain all I need for the morning. It contains;
* Fluted pumpkin leaves also know as Ugwu vegetable.
* Palm oil.
* Onions
* Pepper..."rodo"

* Cumin
The ugwu vegetable is a rich source of Dietary fibre. it contains vitamin A,for clear visions and also protect and keep our skin fresh, vitamin C, that helps to heal wounds and scar, it also contains some minerals like calcium for strong teeth and bones, Iron for the muscles.
It increases Blood Volume and Boost immune system. It is always pescribe by doctors for pregnant women, patients that have loss much blood because it will raise the blood level just in a matter of days.
Research says; It Treat Sudden Attack of Convulsion, Malaria and Anaemia. According to Nigerian daily paper Tribune when this plant is prepared herbally it is use to treat sudden attack of convulsion, malaria and anaemia.
In addition it also plays a vital and protective role in Cardiovascular diseases. You can't get enough from this vegetable and that's why I prefer it in my detox/dietary plan.

For me, I prefer it finely cut/sliced for easy absorption of other ingredients(nutrients) and easy digestion. it flushes my system and balances my hormones leaving me vibrant and energetic for the day; that's why I prefer it in the morning.
I prepare the paste using my palm oil and pepper, I add a little more pepper so it can build me more collagen, give me more vitamins, C , B6, magnesium. Above all, a little more pepper runs straight into my body system to flush out unwanted and un-digested paste to the toilet.
I like my spices, not only for it benefits but for it smell. Turmeric and Cumin are great antioxidants. I try to add just a little of these spices so I can enjoy its benefits as well, even in my morning detox/dietary plan.
I prefer fish to meat as its too early to eat meat. Note that this is a morning plan. You don't need it to be too heavy else, your day will be draggy and dull. Meat will slow you down, it will make you feel heavy and that's not good for the morning.
I slice in my onions on top of the steaming vegetable when it is still on fire. I have also used onions in the early stage, grind with my pepper to paste before putting my vegetable. I like to eat the onions freshly sliced and a bit steamed up.
For the tomatoes, this is not included in the paste but diced or sliced on the ready made vegetable. So you can enjoy its freshness and benefits just as it is without going through a melting session that takes away all it's nutrients.
Try this and see results. This has helped in coordinating my body system and bring me to speed in the morning. Want more, Like, Comment and Share.
Have a fab week!
