In celebrating the children's day last May, Episode13, the best bedding company in Nigeria.."wink" decided to give out 30 bedding for FREE... refer to www.facebook.com/episodethirteen. to that 1 child who is truly in need and appreciates support as this. We got very few response from people, but one of the children who benefited from this act of kindness is as seen below....

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when
suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.
My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and
missed the other car by just inches!
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us!
My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, really friendly. So I asked, “Why did you just do that?

Why I don't shake hands.

Henceforth, if i refuse to shake hands with you, its my new policy, accept it. I realised that most famous men/women dont shake hands. No offense, its a principle. "Maybe its a secret to success and fame" oh well.... just maybe.

Some people dont shake hands because they believe you are up to some fetchish act, I was made to believe thats true. I have a colleague who refuses bluntly on shaking hands. She ensures every morning, mostly when people resume to work- she must have her two phones on each hands to avoid any direct contact - hand to hand. Smart decision I must say cause people just want to shake you especially men and even pick offence when you refuse. Must you shake me???? What value does this add to you.

Let's refer to famous men.... someone pointed that Queen Elizabeth II doesnt shake, british protol and for security reasons.

WIFE MATERIAL... Ladies aired their views.

Personally, I can't stand some of the statements "boys turn men" make when it comes to a lady being a wife material. Only lazy, egocentric, irresponsible men will say things like.... " daddy's duty is to watch TV and read newspaper and mummy's duty is to wash, cook and clean". How can a daddy say this? What a legacy you inculcating in your kids. 

Dear nigerian Men, hear what the women has to say about washing, cleaning and other chores.....

I remember my mum used 2 always tell me when i ws younger dat she ddnt wash any man’s clothes, cook or clean in any man’s house b4 she got married… The whole trick to finding a good man is to be YOURSELF!!! **Somto says...If it clicks between you and your guy, it won’t matter whether you are a good cleaning lady or a good cook, afterall, you can learn all those. Why bother yourself? Cleaning or taking care of his whole family will not create chemistry or the X-factor in the relationship.

**Kofo says...There is no one size fits all. It depends on your personality, and your level of tolerance for dirt. If I met him with a messy house, hell no, I aint cleaning jack, and i’ll let him know right from the start that his place is a mess and I am not comfortable being there, he should either tidy it up or get a cleaning lady. On the flip side if I met him with his house tidy and regularly i can see the place clean and tidy. The day I see a mess i’ll remind him of the mess and we will clean it together. The emphasis on together. I cant date a guy that does not have basic home cleaning abilitites, it says a lot about what he’ll be expecting me to do as wife, and I aint nobody’s mama. Especially in a country where maids are not 2 for 10kobo like 9ja. Hell no, he cant clean his place himself or hire a cleaning lady, i wont go there more than 2ce, and thats it.. Thankfully my boyfriend has OCD, so no problems in that respect. lol**

**Elohor says... Why cant you do the dishes together, especially if she cooks. Even if you cooked, it’ll still be a good idea if you both did the dishes together. All that soap, and water and talking and touching. Tres sweet. It is in the simple things, that a relationship can keep the spark, and a guy can be romantic. The unmarried fathers- rights and responsibilities

...still on fada's day marazzz... The unmarried men have vex! They claim to have right and want to be more responsible...

"For every Father's Day, it should be worth remembering that fathers - especially the unmarried fathers - now have rights they did not have in the past".

Since fathers are as responsible for their children as mothers are, they should be allowed to play a significant role in their upbringing.

"According to the Children's Act, the biological father of a child has full parental responsibilities and rights if he is, or was, married to the child's mother at the time of the child's conception, birth, or any time between the child's conception and birth". Hmmm!   

They also claimed that even after a divorce, the biological father still has full parental responsibilities and rights in respect of his child unless a court orders otherwise.
