It feels so great to be a year older today. Looking years back, I can't really count vividly the blessings I own, especially the ones I don't deserve. God has been so faithful.
Going back in memories, I recall when I was 3, my birthday was a grand with my mum and siblings as host. My mum told me I was really naughty all through that day.
At 21, I had another big one, courtesy my mum, God bless her. She made this huge cake like it was my wedding and killed a ram. Awesome moments with friends, colleagues and even foes.
As I grew older, I had wish it will be the same sweet, peaceful celebration as recorded every year until my last birthday, Tuesday,12th June, 2012. It was raining heavily, flooded, awful, sad with tears. It was a very long sorrowful day...saving the story for another day.
But today, I refuse not to be happy as I see beyond the things around me. I am so grateful for things yet to come.
